Corning Lions & Holmes Plate "Feed The Need"
The Corning Lions Club joined Lions Kim and Brendan Holmes on Thanksgiving Day to "Feed The Need" Full Turkey Dinners with all the trimmings were served to the area needy as well as veterans at no charge.SEE NEWS & EVENTS FOR PICTURE

Gorton Cemetery Gets New Shed
Thanks to the great work of the BOCES Staff and Students the Corning Lions were able to purchase and install a new shed for the Gorton Cemetery. In addition a used riding mower was purchased by the club and refurbished by PCC Art Peck SEE NEWS AND EVENTS FOR PICTURES

Lions Build a Ramp
The Corning Lions got together to build a ramp for a handicapped person in Corning. Despite the cold weather the job was completed in 4 hours thanks to a lot of help. See News & Events for pictures

The 88th Annual Past Presidents' Night
Corning Lions had its annual Past Presidents' Night. Robert J. Uplinger Awards were presented to Watkins Glen International for outstanding service to the Southern Tier of New York and the handicapped race fans, Joyce Hallenback-Mitchell for her support in providing printing services for the high school awards, and Dawn Smith& Biran Hefler for their support as actors, stage set providers and sound system providers for our play. We also installed our officers for 2014-15 and the past presidents reminisced about their year as president. A super night!!

Welcome New Members
The Corning Lions are proud to welcome 6 new members who were inducted on May 15th. Ray Felker, Brendan Holmes, Kim Holmes, Richard Sullenberger, Christine Sullenberger, Katrina Wheeler were all inducted by District Governor Elect Gary Boisseau. Please welcome them.
